Privacy Policy
This policy explains what VisualizerWave handles online and what remains only on your device.
1. Who We Are
VisualizerWave is provided by Unform Audio. For privacy requests or questions, contact support@unformaudio.com.
2. Media Processing Stays On Your Device
Audio files, background images, logos, preview frames, audio analysis, project archives, and encoded videos are processed locally by your browser. VisualizerWave does not intentionally upload or store this media on our application server.
The editor may save a recovery draft, including local media, in your browser's IndexedDB storage. Portable .visualizerwave project files are created and opened locally. You control these files and can clear browser storage through your browser settings or reset the editor.
3. Information Processed Online
Account information
Clerk processes information needed to create and authenticate your account, such as your email address, identifiers, session information, and security events.
Purchase information
Gumroad processes checkout, payment, tax, order, and refund information. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
Hosting and security information
Render serves the website and may process ordinary request information such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser information, and security logs. This media-free hosting traffic is separate from local visualizer rendering.
Support communications
If you contact us, we process the information you include so we can answer the request and maintain an appropriate support record.
4. Why We Process Information
- To authenticate accounts and provide purchased access.
- To complete purchases, refunds, and customer support.
- To secure, operate, diagnose, and improve the website.
- To meet accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and other legal obligations.
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, these activities rely as appropriate on performing our contract with you, complying with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the product, or consent where specifically requested.
5. Service Providers
We use Clerk for authentication, Gumroad for commerce, and Render for hosting. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy commitments. We do not sell your local media files.
6. Retention
Browser-local drafts remain on the device until you reset the editor, clear site data, or the browser removes stored data. Account, purchase, security, and support records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for access, support, fraud prevention, accounting, legal obligations, and dispute handling.
7. International Processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours. They are responsible for the safeguards described in their privacy policies and applicable data-processing terms.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You can remove browser-local project data through the Reset control or your browser's site-data settings. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal data processed online, and to complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Children
VisualizerWave is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to an online service in their country. Do not create an account without the authorization required by local law.
10. Security and Changes
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, but no online service or local storage mechanism is completely risk-free. We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change.
11. Contact
Send privacy questions or rights requests to support@unformaudio.com.
