There is no universal “one-hour ready” guarantee
A set can be exported on a capable device, but duration alone does not tell you whether it will succeed. Browser support, memory, resolution, effects, and free disk space all matter. Direct-to-disk export avoids holding the entire finished video in browser memory, but the source audio still has to be loaded and decoded.

Is the faster long export always faster than realtime?
No. It is experimental and can be slower on some machines or with expensive effects. The editor shows an estimate after testing your device.
Does the complete video have to fit in browser memory?
On supported desktop browsers, direct-to-disk output writes chunks as it runs. The source audio and working data still use memory.
