Recommended setup

  • Use a current Chromium-based desktop browser for the broadest MP4 and WebM support.
  • Enable hardware acceleration and update the graphics driver for WebGL effects.
  • For 4K at 60 fps, close other GPU-heavy tabs and keep at least several gigabytes of memory free.
  • If realtime MP4 is unavailable, use Fast MP4. VisualizerWave will never silently rename a WebM file as MP4.

On-device processing

Your audio, images, preview frames, and encoded video remain in your browser. Render serves the application files, but it does not render or store your media project.
